About Pontiac Southside
Many pioneers made great personal and financial sacrifices to establish a Seventh-day Adventist Church in the city of Pontiac where African Americans could have leadership in worship. Plans to build the current church started in 1969 and the congregation moved into the new church on September 10, 1970. Through the years Pontiac Southside has seen many changes as well as many new faces. Pontiac Southside is currently under the leadership of Pastor Steve Bramwell.
